Glossy Box

Ooh, I am so excited about this post! A while back I heard a little about Glossybox, but I never looked into it until recently when I saw a YouTube review. For those who haven't heard of it, you pay £10 a month (there are 3 monthly and 12 monthly plans or a rolling monthly sub) and get sent a box mid month with 5 beauty products inside. They are sometimes sample sized, sometimes full sized and they will be products from various high street or high end companies. I loved the idea of getting to try new things which I wouldn't be able to splash out on and the surprise of not knowing what you're going to get each month is fun!

I was very excited to receive my first box today! It comes in this cardboard shipping box and only took 2 days to arrive after I got my dispatch email.

Inside the box:

You get this cute baby pink box which I'll be keeping to store things in and inside my goodies were wrapped in tissue with a cute bow. You get a little fold out booklet which has the product descriptions and full sized prices inside, along with a little description of why the products have been chosen.

Each month is based on a theme, June is 'Summer Looks', these are the goodies I received!

Organic Surge - Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser
Nails Inc - In St James (classic red)
Helen E Cosmetics - Waterproof Lip Liner
Paul Mitchell Curls - Leave In Treatment
Fig & Rouge - Cherry Blossom tinted lip balm
Paul Mitchell Curls - Ultimate Wave

I'm pretty happy with my first box! I'm a huge lip balm and moisturiser lover so those will always win with me and they're by brands I'm not familiar with so it's nice to try something new.
I'm loving the colour of the nail varnish, so that will be getting used very soon and the Paul Mitchel hair products are designed to give you beachy waves which I love, so I'm excited to try those out too.
The only thing I'm not too fussed about is the lip pencil, I'm too lazy for lipstick most of the time so I don't tend to use liners, the leaflet says you can use it all over the lip though so I'll definitely give it a go and see how it suits/applies/stays put etc!

In all I'm very happy about my first months box, I'd definitely recommend Glossy Box and can't wait for the next one! You can check them out at glossybox.co.uk.

Do you receive these or any similar boxes? What's been your favourite product?
