I have been neglecting the blog somewhat this last week because we've been so busy! I spent lots of time with a good friend and family in the week and then it was a bank holiday weekend!
On saturday my husband and I went to Collectormania which is a show held in our city every year where you can meet famous people from cult films and buy memorabilia. We got to bump into English boxer Frank Bruno and have a gawp at a few others but it was so busy we didn't stay for too long.
Sunday was beautifully sunny so we visited my dad for a BBQ where we ate far too much and went for a nice walk around the countryside. We found a park and Enid had her first go on a swing, which she absolutely loved!


Monday morning we woke up wanting to do something different and decided to take a spur of the moment drive to Brighton. It's around a 2 hour drive for us but took a little longer with the bank holiday traffic. The weather was super sunny and absolutely perfect for a spontaneous trip!


We ate yummy chips and ice cream, played on the beach and Enid had her first paddle in the sea (she wasn't very impressed!).

Yesterday we went to my lovely friend Melissa's house for dinner with her and her husband, we ate beautiful home cooked food and had a good laugh! You can see pics soon over at her blog here.
