Over the recent bank holiday weekend we were lucky enough to be able to get away for a few days. We stayed in a small holiday cabin overlooking the sea in an even smaller town in Yorkshire and it was great to get away and enjoy some 'us' time as October slowly creeps closer. The stay was a bit of a birthday treat for me from my dad who is now currently occupying the same cabin for the rest of the week, we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend.


Since we were traveling the 3.5 hours each way on Saturday and Monday and then mostly pootling around the town/beach/shops, I didn't take a lot of photographs on these days. I took a few snaps on Sunday when we visited the lovely seaside town of Bridlington though, it was a gorgeous sunny day where we enjoyed ice cream, playing on the beach and seeing the local sights. Sadly the town we stayed in was quite remote and far from other towns so we didn't get to do a lot else but it was nice to just be by the sea and relax.
