DIY Pinwheels

What you need:

Skewers or cocktail sticks,

Mini brads,

Scissors,

Craft or scrapbook paper,

Glue gun

Start by cutting your paper into 2 inch squares and folding them crossways, then use your scissors to cut down the lines towards the centre of the square, being careful not to cut too far in.

Use one of your mini brads to pierce the centre of your square then carefully fold every other one of your cut corners, piercing with the brad as you go. Once you have all edges pierced, push your brad back through the middle of the square and fasten it on the back.

You have a mini pinwheel! I used my gluegun to stick mine onto skewers which I'm going to cut to length and use as cupcake toppers for Enid's birthday. I think they'd look cute in a vase of flowers or hung in a row in a childrens bedroom. What would you use yours for?
