Locket up

Things have been very busy in NL land this past week and I've had no time to myself. I had decided recently I wanted to get creating again, as the whole being a new mummy thing can somewhat distract you from your hobbies (in a good way of course!).
I used to have a huge obsession with jewellery making and remember selling my beaded bracelets and fimo ice cream necklaces on ebay more than ten years ago, so it seemed only fitting to rekindle my long term love for this hobby. So I set aside some 'me time' to get creating and made this pretty batch of unique lockets!

I didn't want to make them all the same, or even with similar patterns so I made sure to think up a different theme for each. I sketched, printed and painted the centers until I was happy with their look and then used clear cabochons in the centers to protect and give them their shiny look.

I have 5 currently for sale in my Etsy shop here and I've made a couple of custom ones with hand written names in the centers for myself, my sister and a friend. I'm so pleased with how they turned out, I hope you like them too!

NB: For a custom locket, take a peek here.
